4-3. How to choose a calligraphy brush

There are a variety of brushes by combining materials and sizes. For the first time, the most common brush for beginner is recommended.
No.3 or No.4 is suitable for four to six letters on hanshi (standard-size calligraphy paper),
No.7 to No.9 is for Kana,a slender writing.
After some practice,it is important to find comfortable brush to write for yourself by trying different type of brushes.
Some Shodo-shop provide brushes for trial.

These brushes are No. 3 and No. 4.
