7-3. Various Gyosho Calligraphy3, 登, climb

You can write one kanji in various form.

These are all gyosho style of kanji "登". This letter reads as"nobo-ru"or "to". The meaning is "climb, rise".
The semi-cursive style ( gyosho) of writing has a flexibility in the form.
The semi-style (gyosho) of this kanji is unique characteristic. The gyosho forms of the redical called "hatsugashira" '癶' are characteristic. When you see a moment, you will think them to be totally different shape.
